Privacy.
The site only asks you for information in one place: the request form (demo or compatibility).
Who processes your data
SAS MOBAPI, which publishes this site, is the data controller: it decides how your data is used. Its full contact details are in the legal notice.
- Data controller
- SAS MOBAPI
- Contact for your data
- dpo@mobapi.com
What the form asks for
- In every case
- Your request (a demo or a compatibility check), first name and surname, company, work email.
- For a demo
- The equipment you want to see first.
- For a compatibility check
- The make and model of the equipment, and the protocol if you know it. Optionally, a photo or a PDF of the nameplate, and the equipment you want to see first.
- Optional
- Job title, phone number.
You also tick a box to agree to Mobapi using this information. To block automated submissions, the form limits the number of submissions per IP address.
What it is used for
To answer your request: to agree a time for the demo, or to tell you what Mobapi can get out of the equipment you described.
This processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights).
Who receives it
The Mobapi team. When you send it, your request reaches the team in two ways: an email, and a notification in its internal messaging tool. The site does not keep your request.
- Sending the email
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, United States)
- Internal notification
- Slack (Slack Technologies Limited, Dublin, Ireland)
- Hosting and analytics
- Vercel Inc. (Covina, California, United States)
- Transfers outside the European Union
- These providers may process your data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Vercel and Resend participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission on 10 July 2023. Resend and Slack also apply the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long it is kept
- Your request
- 3 years after your last contact with Mobapi, then it is deleted.
- IP address used for the anti-spam check
- 10 minutes, in memory: long enough to count your submissions.
Analytics
The site counts its visits with Vercel Web Analytics, its host’s tool: how many people visit it, which pages they read, where they come from. Mobapi uses this to improve the site.
The tool sets no cookies. To count visitors without knowing who they are, Vercel computes a code from the request your browser sends to the site. This code changes every day: it cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next, or from one site to another. The statistics are anonymous: they are not linked to a person or to an IP address.
- Tool
- Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc.
- Cookies set
- None
- Data for a page view
- The date and time, the page viewed and the one you came from, your country, region and city, the operating system and the browser with their versions, the type of device (computer, tablet or mobile).
- Counting code
- Valid for one day, then reset
- Transfer outside the European Union
- Vercel may process this data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which it participates (see Who receives it).
Because these statistics are anonymous, Mobapi cannot trace your visits to show them to you or delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, to have it corrected or to have it deleted. You can also restrict its use, object to it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time.
Write to dpo@mobapi.com. If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
