Mobapi selected for the French Tech Tour America 2017.

Mobapi is one of the 21 start-ups selected for the French Tech Tour America 2017, organised by Business France and Bpifrance. On the programme: two weeks in Canada in October, to test the North American market.

Tailored support.

Every year, Business France, the national agency in charge of the international development of the French economy, and Bpifrance, the French public investment bank, invite innovative, promising technology companies to come and test the North American market. This year, 21 start-ups have been chosen by major players in the American and Canadian ecosystem, after a demanding selection process. Mobapi is one of them. It is the first time a company from the French overseas territories has taken part in a French Tech Tour on this continent.

For a young company, it is a real chance to speed up its international growth. The programme is comprehensive and made to measure: it runs from sales pitch preparation to meetings with customers and partners, by way of networking evenings.

Why Canada?

After three appearances at Mobile World Congress, going international is becoming real for us. North America offers good prospects for processing Internet of Things data, and we want to get Mobapi into connected-object projects. Canada looks like a promising market to us, and we have already tested it on a first trip, in April. We can’t wait to go back.

Departure is set for 17 October. Vincent Reboul, our CEO, will spend an intense two weeks split between Toronto and Montreal, with coaching and meetings, in the hope of coming home with our first Canadian partnerships.
