Mobapi wins first prize for Mobile Innovation.

On 30 November 2016, at the Bpifrance Hub in Paris, Mobapi won first prize for Mobile Innovation in the Innovation Outre-Mer competition. The next day, the team presented the platform at the French Ministry for Overseas Territories. Two days full of emotion and new encounters.

A full room, seen from the back: the audience seated with their backs to the camera, a speaker standing, and a large screen showing “Innovation Outre-Mer 2016” above the partners’ logos.

Ninety seconds to convince.

Mobapi was selected for the final of the 2nd edition of the Innovation Outre-Mer competition, organised by Outre-Mer Network, Impact partenaires and the Bpifrance Hub to reward innovative projects led by people from the French overseas territories. Vincent Reboul, our CEO, presented Mobapi in the 90 seconds allowed, in front of investors, representatives of large French groups and other start-ups.

The jury awarded us first prize for Mobile Innovation, for the platform for sharing data between organisations that we presented. We are proud of it.

The next day, at the ministry.

On 1 December, we were invited to the French Ministry for Overseas Territories for the Jeudigital French Tech. Held one Thursday a month in a ministry, this event lets six start-ups present their products and services to investors, large corporates and public-sector buyers.

After a few hours of one-to-one coaching, we presented Mobapi to the Minister for Overseas Territories, the Minister of State for Digital Affairs and Innovation, and around a hundred guests. A chance to talk about the future of data sharing, and about entrepreneurship in the overseas territories.

Thank you to Réseau Entreprendre Guyane, which did a great deal to help us organise this trip. And well done to the other start-ups from the overseas territories who were there over those two days.

Your fleet already has the data. Let’s look at it together.

Tell us what you operate: we’ll show you a case similar to yours, then your own data.
